Seismic platforms С23

Seismic platforms of C 23 type (hereinafter platform C23) are designed to protect the process control equipment from external mechanical impacts during operation in nuclear power plants, including the indoor permanent and periodical industrial vibration, external shocks on the building construction (aircraft crash), earthquakes etc.

Platforms C23 have 2 groups of designs:

Basic Design - platform type:

·          C23B - used instead of the usual and earthquake-resistant bases (the same size) to reduce the mechanical aging of the equipment components in result of external vibration, because reduces the vibration acceleration peaks (vertical and horizontal) by more than 2 times. Resistance to external single shocks is 20g.

External materials: - galvanized painted steel or stainless steel. The term of service is 30 years. Climatic design is anyone.

Standard design - platform type:

·          C23H - used instead of earthquake-resistant bases (the same size) for a normative level of vibration of critical components of the process control equipment during the maximum design impacts of industrial vibration and seismic loads, because reduces the vibration acceleration peaks (vertical and horizontal) by 4-45 times. Resistance to external single shocks is 20g.

External materials: - stainless steel. The term of service is 60 years. Climatic design is anyone.

Production and supply of Seismic platforms C23 for customers in the Russian Federation is provided by their own technical specifications TU 3433-001-88356101-2012 Appendix L.

Platforms C23 are made according to 2, 3 and 4 classes of OPB 88/97 under the quality plans in accordance with the specified procedure.

Seismic Category is 0 according to GOST 30546.1.

To order the equipment it is necessary to send the ВО drawing with connecting dimensions or article of the cabinet used according to the manufacturer's catalog (Rittal, Legrand, etc.).
